Wedding Questions

What do you charge for wedding photography? Email me through my contact form and I’d be happy to send you a link to my current prices and packages. Be sure to include your wedding date, venue, and any other important information. Packages start at $3,099 for 8 hours of coverage and one photographer. You have the ability to create a package based on your needs (additional hours, albums, engagement session, second photographer, etc).

A couple looking for 8 hours of coverage, 2 photographers and an engagement session would typically invest around $4,000 for coverage.

How do we reserve you for our wedding date? I require a signed contract and $1,000 retainer to reserve your date.

I also like to meet/talk with you prior to any type of booking- either through phone call, zoom, or FaceTime. This way we can make sure we are a good fit! All of my meetings are no pressure and meant to inform you about what I offer and my style. No sales pitch, I promise!

Since I do sometimes receive same date inquiries, my policy is that a signed contract & retainer are due to reserve a specific date. If you schedule a meeting, I will soft hold your date until 24hours after your call.

How long does it take you to finish our wedding pictures? Editing typically takes up to six weeks. At that time you’ll receive an online password protected gallery, a personal printing release, the ability to order prints in an online gallery, and access to download all of your finalized images right to your computer.

Do you have backup equipment? Are you insured? Absolutely. As a full-time professional, I carry liability insurance and always have back-up gear with me.

How many images do we receive? Galleries can range from 600-900+ images depending on the length of coverage.

Do you offer albums? Yes. Albums are available a la cart with any package up to a year after your wedding. Album prices range from $800+ . To see album details, you can visit: www.lauraleighphoto.com/albums

Will you help us with a timeline? Absolutely.  Two+ months before your wedding I send out a questionnaire to see your finalized details and where you are with a timeline. After that is received back, I set-up a phone consult to verbally finalize your photography timeline with you.  I then type a photography outline and share it with you. I’m also available through your entire planning process if you have any questions.

How do I know how many hours to book? Let’s chat! Every wedding is different and each couple may be looking for different lengths of coverage.  I allow my couples to add additional hours after they book if necessary. Also, I send out a wedding planning guide once you book that may answer many timeline questions!

How long have you been a photographer? After earning my degree in photography, I photographed my first wedding in 2008. While the next few years were full—marked by a separate career and the start of my family—my business remained my true passion. I spent that time refining my style and building my business until 2013, when I finally transitioned into my photography business as a full-time career.

How would you describe your style? I focus on a style that is timeless and classic, prioritizing natural skin tones, clean edits, and true-to-life colors. My goal is to preserve the genuine feeling of those fleeting, honest moments that define your day—the big milestones and the small moments in between. My hope is that in the future, you can look back on your photos and find that the joy is just as vivid and the memories just as true as the day they were captured.
